This boy is OBSESSED with anything with wheels. Trains, cars, trucks, strollers, carts, wheelchairs, anything. It gets embarrassing when he tries to push people's strollers or chases someone in a wheelchair. This day he spent about 1/2 hour just lining up his vehicles in straight lines. I would reach over and push one out of order and he would put it right back. It was pretty cute. I'm wondering if he is going to be a compulsive cleaner like my brother.
I had surgery on my feet at the end of July. I had 4 toes straightened. The knuckles were arthritic and bent and uncomfortable- hammer toes. This was my first post-op appointment and Parker was scared for me. My mom stayed with us for 4 days to take care of me and Parker during the day and then Grant took over during the weekend, then she came back for several days until Karin came.

He was a little whiny and then decided to lay on the floor. How embarressing!
Then when we sat down to his first donut, he just poked at it. He doesn't quite know what to do with sweets since we don't have any in the house. He'll eat a few bites of ice cream or frozen yogurt if we go to a buffet or something, but never will eat candy or even fruit snacks. That is OK with us!
We went to Cannon Beach for the night while my mom watched Parker. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful.
On the way back we stopped at Camp 18 Logging Museum and Restaurant. We ate some lunch and walked around.
It's been a great 6 years! I have the best husband ever. He is such a help around the house, is an amazing dad, and is my best friend. I've got such a big smile on my face just thinking about him right now and looking at this last picture. He is so cute!
Thanks Julia. What a task it was to get all 4 Clark grandkids to sit still long enough for a nice picture for my mom's 60th birthday, but it turned out great!

When we went to Albany, Parker and Ava were napping and Cam and Julia were with Cory, so I took Sophie to the park. This was our little photo shoot.
Julia tried to get some nice shots of me and my brother with my mom. Cameron was totally making us laugh with his silly faces, but we got some good ones.
I love my family! I wish Cam and his beautiful family lived closer.My brother and his family came to Oregon from Wyoming for a visit. This was the first time I was able to meet their youngest girl, Natalia. She is a sweet 6 month old baby. Ava is 3 and Sophie is 5. I love these little girls and their fun personalities!

Cam helps Parker go on his first slip n' slide. It was more like a drag n' slide. He would just sit nicely down at the top and wait for someone to slide him down. I was really surprised that he liked it. It was a hot and humid day, so I'm sure it felt nice.
We went to Multnomah Falls. Grant biked the whole way there. Not sure how many miles, I think about 40. Then he hiked to the top of the falls, a very steep 1 mile each way. And then when we got there, he walked up to the bridge with us. Cam and his family continued up to the top and we, including my mom, went back down.
We spent a day at my mom's house. Cam got to see old friends Cory, Raj, and Brian. I got to see my oldest friend, Niki and her son Arien. We had a great time.
Back at home the girls learn how to play the trombone. Sophia was really good.
